Report on “Ormakalil Basheer”

The College Library, Readers’ Forum, and Department of Language jointly organized “Ormakalil Basheer” on 5th July, in connection with the birth anniversary of Vaikom Muhammad Basheer. The program was inaugurated by the College Principal, Dr. Mansur Ali, and presided over by Readers’ Forum Coordinator, Mr. Shrafudheen.

Mr. Abdul Jamal K M, College Librarian, delivered the welcome address. Felicitations were offered by Dr. Jasmine P M (Vice Principal), Dr. Abdul Azeez (Department of Arabic), Ms. Dhanya Sasikumar (Department of Hindi), and Ms. Mehjebin Farsana (Department of English).

As part of the program, students conducted a book review session, which enriched the event with insightful reflections on Basheer’s works. The program served as a meaningful tribute to the legendary writer and inspired students to explore his literary contributions.
