VAYANAVARAGOSHAM
Department of English in collaboration with
Library Advisory Committee conducted ‘Vayanavaragosham’ on June 24, 2016. The
session began with an invocation to God. Mr. K.M Abdul Jamal, College
Librarian welcomed the invited. Dr. Subu M.K, Principal in-charge and HOD, Computer presided over the function. Mr. K.M Shamshudheen, Chairman, College
Managing Committee inaugurated the programme and delivered inaugural address.
The Chief Guest was Dr. Silvikutty Joseph, Writer and Head of the Department of
Malayalam, Maharajas College, Ernakulam. In the key note she addressed the necessity
of good reading in each and one’s life and with the fluent and expressive
oration she deeply motivated students. Dr. Sopna V. Muhammed, Staff Club
Secretary and HOD, BBA, Dr. Mazur Ali, IQAC Coordinator and HOD, Biosciences,
Mrs. Princy Francis, HOD, Commerce, Dr.
Bindu Jamal, HOD, English, Mr.
Abdul Aziz, Head Accountant felicitated the session. Mr. Sanjayan T.S, Faculty
of English delivered the vote of thanks. After the inaugural session there were
various presentations by students.
